"We don't do Christmas cards," says Steve Fogle of the Southeast Tennessee SBU. "It seems to us that Thanksgiving is the time to thank our customers." So a card design contest was held at the Rogers Group CEO Partner School Bel Aire Elementary. The winning card by Jessica Boehm was professionally printed and mailed to all of the Southeast Tennessee SBU customers with a note of thanks inside from Rogers Group.
"We thought it was a great way to do something different, get involved with the community and have some fun with our school." Creating Educational Opportunities (CEO) is a partnership program of the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce, between Tullahoma schools and the business community. Objectives are to foster concern for and enrich education, and to create a better educated workforce. CEO facilitates and coordinates partnerships between individual schools, or school programs and local businesses.
Six other students won "runner-up" prizes.
