The third annual Tullahoma Soap Box Derby takes place Saturday, June 15 in downtown Tullahoma, and once again Rogers Group will have an entry in the stock division. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support our driver this year and enjoy a full day of racing excitement (much better than Nascar!....and just as many rules)
Our driver this year is Tyler Lewis, 9 year old Grandson of Hillsboro Crushing Supt. Dan Lewis.
Tyler attends Cascade Elementary School and is involved in several other activities, such as soccer and softball.
We have worked with Tyler on the RGI car for the past several weeks in the Tullahoma shop and we think we're finally ready for the big day. The overall winner of the derby earns a trip to the Nationals in Akron, Ohio in July as well as other awards and praise.
