SETN employees spent a good chunk of their summer doing their part in the community by assisting with children’s athletics teams.
Quality Control Manager Allen Rogers alone donated over 120 hours umpiring and coaching.
- Umpiring Manchester Little Tee Ball: 6 hours
- Helping the derby car races in Tullahoma; 2 hours
- Coaching Manchester Little League (9–12 yrs.): 26 hours in game time, 20 in practice time
- Coaching 7-year-olds in Tullahoma: 20 hours in game time, 20 hours in practice
- Coaching 8-12 year-olds in Tullahoma: 30 hours
QC Technician Darrell Land logged around over 45 hours coaching for the Murfreesboro Soccer Club last term (May–June), which included 14 games, clinics and practices. Darrell also volunteers time (10 hours so far) reading to the classes at Bellwood Discovery School in Murfreesboro. RGI also donated money towards the school.
SETN’s David Brooks and Construction Manager Kevin Norrod also donated time to community sports leagues, but the total times are not yet available.
