Rutherford Quarry Achieves Zero Citation MSHA Inspection

Rutherford EmployeesThe goal of a MSHA inspection is to ensure safe and healthful working conditions for miners.

As we all know, mining is dynamic. Working conditions change and employees are not perfect. When a MSHA inspection takes place any major, minor, mistaken or improper actions by employees or processes can trigger potential liabilities costly to Rogers Group.

So, when an inspection goes "perfect" with zero citations, it's a time to recognize the hard work and efforts that went into making that possible.

Congratulations to the Rutherford County quarry on their ZERO citations inspection. Our hats are off to Superintendent Jimmy Tobbit and crew members Bobby Bailey, Buddy Mayo, Darrell Land, David Rutherford, Elgin Oliver, Ellis Burnett, Fred Mears, Hoyte Bain, James Lester, Jeremiah Griffin, Jessie Carr, John Dodd, Lisa Poole, Randy Weddington, Rickey Fox, Robert McClure, Robert Singleton, Stephen Mayo, Tommy Bain, Vicky Phillips, Willie Clark

This plant produces approximately 1 million tons per year, running one shift.

The crew enjoyed a BBQ lunch together on September 18 in recognition of their excellent performance.
