On Thursday, May 10, 2001, Rogers Group held a Customer Appreciation Day at its Rutherford Quarry.
Hamburgers, hot dogs and Carter Sain's famous homemade beans were served to over 200 customers, local officials and RGI employees.
The event was attended by Mayor Richard Reeves of the City of Murfreesboro, State Representative John Hood (Rutherford County), as well as many other local officials and dignitaries from the surrounding cities,counties and TDOT.
The purpose of the event was to introduce RGI to its new constituents in the Rutherford County area.
Thanks to the teamwork and efforts of everyone at the quarry as well as many others throughout the SETN SMA, the event was a huge success.
