Employees Recognized for Rescue Effort
The mayor of Cowan and the Chief of the Cowan Rescue Squad recognized three employees of our Cowan Quarry for their quick action and efforts to rescue two workers that were buried in an industrial accident next door to the quarry. These employees quickly took over and operated the heavy equipment in the attempt to reach the buried workers.
