    From early 1992, Rogers Group of Southern Middle Tennessee has been actively involved in developing partnerships with the schools within the markets we serve. Our long term goals revolve around developing a local workforce that benefits Rogers Group and each company or individual we serve. Better educated employees, customers, and suppliers will provide for a better community.

    Today, Rogers Group is proud of the fact that we have active partnerships with these schools:

    • Spot Lowe Technology Center

    • Crockett Elementary School
    • Etheridge Elementary School
    • Lawrence County Adult Basic Education Center
    • Columbia State Community College

    • Marshall County High School
    • Central High School
    These partnerships have provided Rogers Group with many high value experiences and employees.

    In April of 1995, one of our staff, Dave Adomyetz, was invited to testify before a Senate Sub-Committee hearing in Washington, DC on "Businesses Role in Vocational Education".

    In April of 1995, we were again honored to be presented "House Joint Resolution No. 545" that recognized Rogers Group for our work in education.

    Today our work continues. Numerous members of Rogers Group work in various capacities to improve the employability of the citizens in the communities we serve. A strong educated workforce is our link to the future.

  • SMTN: 100-year-old RGI Funds Water Garden for 200-year-old Tenn. County - 4/2/08
  • SMTN Donates to Adult Learning Center

  • Rogers Group employees serve on numerous committees, design teams, and as consultants with all expenses paid by Rogers Group. Some examples of our far reaching involvement include: The School To Career Plan, Tech Prep, DECA, VICA, HOSA, and National School to Work.
  • Working with Focus of Columbia, we have a "special needs and special training" employee.

  • David Denton, a Rogers Group employee is serving as co-chairman of the Giles County Business, Industry, and Educational Partnership.
