On Thursday, January 24, the new four-lane portion of Hwy 43 stretching from Loretto, Tennessee, to the Alabama state line was officially opened after a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included Department of Transportation with Commissioner Gerald Nicely and other state and local county officials. Rogers Group was prime contractor on the five-mile $12.6 million project. Despite the challenge of high traffic and limited right of way, Rogers Group construction crews finished the project early!
Representing Rogers Group at the ceremony were South Central Division VP Randy Butler, Construction Manager Howard Nutt, Estimator Eric Nutt, Division Sales Manager Dave Adomyetz and Administrative Coordinator Joan Knowis.
