The new roadway connects I-65 to
I-24, extending in an arc around the southwest outer loop around
Nashville. It gives drivers in the Williamson County area better
access to the east and southeast without first heading to Nashville and
then outward on interstates.
"This road is about access to
markets," declared Saltsman. "Middle Tennessee is within one day's drive
of 75% of American consumers, and the better our roads, the better our
business."
In addition to Southern Middle
Tennessee employees and managers on hand for the event, CEO Don Williamson, COO Rich Warden, and another 20 or so Nashville area employees attended the event.
We extend our congratulations to
SMTN for their role in this great addition to Tennessee's
infrastructure, and our thanks to all employees who came out to support the opening.
