"My father's uncompromising high standards and expectation, along with his fairness and integrity earned the utmost respect from his family, friends, and coworkers," said Larry Lowe, son of Vern Lowe.
"I'm certain that your commitment to people and aircraft issues are comparable, making you the logical choice for this award. Your contributions and dedication to aviation safety are welcome, as proven by the admiration and respect of many in the aviation community."
Bill has been around aircraft his entire life and became a commercial pilot at the age of 18. He obtained his A&P mechanics license from Vincennes University. Bill has been employed of RGI Aviation for 29 years. Today, Bill has over 14,000 hours of flight time, 4,000 of them in Citations.
Ben R. Rechter, President of RGI Investments, says: "I have been flying with Bill since his first days with Rogers. We are indeed fortunate to have an employee achieve this outstanding recognition."
In his spare time Bill is an avid golfer, enjoys fishing, and spending time with his 1-year old grandson.
