Unfortunately, stocking up with all those school supplies can cost a pretty penny. No worries, Rogers Group to the rescue!
For the third year in a row, the Nashville office helped to give every student at Park Avenue Enhanced Option School an A+ start by donating school supplies. Every student received spiral notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, glue, rulers and scissors.
Park Avenue serves pre-K thru fifth grade students and is our PENCIL Partner school. Roughly 650 students attend the school with a large majority (90%) of these students coming from low-income homes.
The school is no longer on the state list for schools needing improvement under the No Child Left Behind standards!
Recently Don Williamson went to visit the school again and he was given a package of Thank You letters written by the students themselves.
There are presently 650 students at Park Avenue.
