Each year, Rogers Group works with the summer program to provide additional areas of training and leisure activity for the camp participants. In June 2002, Rogers Group has agreed to provide PowerPoint training to a number of the children in the 13-15 year old range over a three-week period. Afterward, the children will apply what they have learned in creating a presentation about the Foundation to be delivered to Rogers Group employees at a later date. In addition, on two separate occasions, groups of children ranging in age from 8-12 will visit our REOStone quarry for an afternoon of rock painting and a tour of the facility. Finally, Rogers Group has arranged for the children to have a guided tour of the Nashville Metropolitan Airport, so that they can learn how to buy airline tickets, check arriving and departing flights and find their luggage upon arrival at the airport.
On May 9, 2002, Jenni Keith delivered a check, in the amount of $5,000, to the Charles Davis Foundation, continuing a tradition of funding the uniforms for the Foundation's summer program known as Camp P.E.A.C.E. The uniforms worn by the children create an atmosphere of unity and provide a sense of "belonging" as they strive to achieve new levels of excellence within each program.
As with many charitable organizations, the Foundation has experienced a substantial drop in support since the September 11, 2001, incident, and, without Rogers Group's help, the purchase of summer uniforms would have put a tremendous strain on the Foundation's budget. It is an honor for Rogers Group to be able to step in and bridge the gap for these young people.

It is with great pride and pleasure that Rogers Group continues its partnership with the Foundation, knowing that positive influences in the life of a child can make all the difference in determining his or her future.
