Connie Edwards, Rogers Group's Southern Region Contracts Coordinator, has been working with the Red Cross Blood Drive for the last couple of years to help gather blood at Rogers Group's corporate office. A date was set for the Red Cross to come out, then she sent out a volunteer sign-up sheet for blood donors. She had a hard time finding donors because of their fear of needles.
Maybe the best way to make the decision to donate blood is to visualize the face of a person you know who may have recently received life saving blood. Blood, there is still no substitute!
