On Wednesday, June 20, employees at the corporate offices in Nashville had the opportunity to participate in its annual American Red Cross Blood Drive, held in the Rogers Room. Twenty-five people volunteered to give, all but four of whom were Rogers employees. There were 23 successful donors and four of them were first-time donors. Knowledgeable health technicians were present to make sure the process was as painless as possible.
Steve Beeler, CEO Tennessee Valley Region Blood Services of the American Red Cross, praised the recent blood drive, "Each blood donation has the potential to help save up to three lives. That means that your recent blood drive may help save the lives of up to 69 people! I appreciate the commitment of businesses like Rogers Group, Inc., especially now that we are experiencing a critical blood shortage. I hope your experience was a positive one and that we can count on your future support."
Thanks to everyone who volunteered!
