Rogers Group has presented their annual agribusiness scholarships to area students.
Jason Jenkins received his third scholarship from Rogers Group this year,
maintaining a 3.0 GPA as a junior Agricultural
Economics at University of Kentucky - Lexington.
Jarrod Bennett
received his second scholarship, maintaining a
3.3 GPA in AgriBusiness at Murray State. He is
now a sophomore.
B.J. Cayce is this
year’s new scholarship winner. He is a
freshman in Agriculture at Murray State.
Hopkinsville
Aggregate Area Manager Mark DeArmond and Western
Kentucky SBU Manager John Sweeney presented the
checks. The scholarships help support education
as well as promoting the importance of
agriculture to the region.
