Jesse and Glynn provide an excellent example of corporate citizenship with their recent involvement with The Healing Place, a social and medical outreach to the homeless of Louisville, Kentucky.

| The Healing Place is a special and successful place that encourages people to seek sobriety and recovery and provides meals, shelters, and medical care. | Jesse's interest in The Healing Place began in the early 1980's through a conversation with a close friend, Dr. Will Ward. Dr. Ward had been helping Father Morgan, a Catholic priest, provide food, shelter and medical care to the homeless. Jesse and Glynn said they would like to help, too. |
In June of 1985 a facility was dedicated to begin the healing work and in November of 1997 a new facility will open.
The new facility was designed and constructed under the supervision of Glynn Stengel and Jesse Bollinger. Much of the labor and materials used in the construction were donated or purchased at reduced prices thanks to the efforts of Jesse and Glynn and the support of the local community of contractors and material suppliers. Tom Sanders supervised the day-to-day construction of the building.
The three story building has thirty-five private rooms. Each room contains two twin beds and a private bath.
In addition to his efforts with The Healing Place, Jesse Bollinger has helped to arrange for a teen facility called The Linda Casper Youth Center to be built near Holy Trinity in Eastern Jefferson County.
Glynn Stengel has been an active participant in the building program of Trinity High School. Trinity is well known for academic and sports programs.
Please join us as we salute the unselfish and time consuming efforts of Jesse Bollinger and Glynn Stengel. We are very proud of their many accomplishments and of our valued association with them as customers and friends.
