On September 13, Jefferson County Stone Foreman James Webb donated six hours to the improvement of the playground of Strathmoor Preschool Education Center. In a “thank you” letter, Preschool Director Rhonda Wray wrote, “We really appreciate the time you gave us and, more importantly, the children are sure to spend countless hours over the next several years enjoying the fruits of your labor.”
James’ work on the 15-year-old playground included replacing the old pea gravel with new, putting in new mulch, tearing down and old play set and repainting a swing set.

The 15-year-old playground was aging and becoming unsafe for the preschool children.

The old wooden play set was removed.

Several of the parents from the preschool help with the renovation.

James repaints the swing set.

The beautiful “after” shot!
