"Trucker Treat" Day a Success at Newton County Stone

Newton County Stone’s "Trucker Treat" Day (Halloween) was quite the day. With strong demand for agricultural lime and increased activity surrounding several other contract jobs, hungry truck drivers were met with grilled bratwurst and other goodies. Superintendent Roger Bohlinger was the main chef with others in the office helping out.

With over 600 loads passing through the gate and over 300 bratwurst served, "Trucker Treat" Day was a hit!

Drivers wait in line to fix their brats.

Newton County Highway Superintendent Wayne Hall stopped by.

Driver Kevin (Morrison & Benoit Trucking) came in for lunch and a hug from the “Blonde Witch of Newton” (a.k.a., Community Relations Coordinator Susan Daniel).

Tim of Ulyat Trucking got caught looking for the food.
