When a fire destroyed the home of Covington, Indiana, resident Marie McCain, the community responded, including Interstate Sand & Gravel Loader Operator Dave Niccum who lives in Marie’s community. After the home was rebuilt, Rogers Group donated topsoil to restore the landscaping and to help with drainage. Rogers Group also donated the fuel necessary to transport the soil. Dave Niccum spearheaded the project and donated his time to drive the truck and lay the topsoil.
Dave’s volunteering logged three hours for NIN toward their goal of 100 hours of community service.
