Newton County Students Grateful to Field Trip Hosts from the Newton County Enterprise, Wednesday, May 26, 1999
The fourth graders of South Newton Elementary School would like to thank
the stone quarry for letting them come to enjoy the many rocks and
minerals. They got to see where the meteorite hit.
They also got to see some sedimentary rocks, like limestone which is full
of minerals. they would also like to thank them for giving us neat bookmarks
and a guide to the stone quarry.
Thank you Rogers Group!
