Rogers Group and other
industry companies in co-operation with the Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association
recently sponsored a seminar for teachers entitled, "Rocks and Minerals in Modern
Society" at Indiana Wesleyan University. Rogers Group sponsored several of our local community teachers at the week-end seminar. The seminar is designed to increase the teacher's knowledge of the important role our products play in society, and to allow them to gain first-hand knowledge of how a quarry operates. The teachers were provided with numerous materials to assist in the classroom. Teachers were treated to some entertainment by our very own Susan Ward and Julie Whittington. The Rockman video song and dance was a big hit! Many Rogers Group employees participated in making this event such a big success.
