Specialty Limestone Products of Bloomington recently received acknowledgement of high achievement from Knauf Fiberglass of Shelbyville, Indiana. Jeff Brown, Director of Purchasing, notified the team that they had received a Supplier Performance Evaluation Summary for the last quarter with an average score of 98 out of a possible 100 points. The points are accumulated in areas of delivery, quality and service.
Specialty Products supplies the fiberglass industry (Knauf) with a raw feed product. Recently Knauf agreed to change their specs to match our product. In return, we supply them with a certificate of analysis on physical requirements with each load, and chemical analysis weekly. It was a cultural change but it was another example how "together, we create opportunities for people to succeed." Knauf is now one of Rogers' Specialty Products' top customers.
