Bloomington Crushed Stone participates in the Adopt-A-Highway program by cleaning a 2 mile stretch on Oard Road which runs along the quarry property. The Adopt-A-Highway program, which began in 1989, has been one of the truly successful government-volunteer partnerships of our time. The program's value can be measured not only in financial savings, but in the hours that volunteers dedicate to keeping their communities looking beautiful.
