Mitchell Quarry Employees Log Hours at Safe Night Event
Mitchell Quarry employees Kellie Kirkman, Adrian Jacobs and Danny Powell logged 15 hours toward CIN’s goal of 100 hours of community service by providing a registration booth for the tenth annual Lawrence County “Safe Night.”

Sponsored by various service organizations and coalitions, about 4,500 people attended the free event that focused on drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention among local youth. With free food, games, face painting and plenty of activities, everyone had a good time. Of course, having a few of the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders on hand didn’t hurt!

The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks display.

Families gather at the Safe Night registration table. Door prizes included tickets to Holiday World.
