Several times throughout the year, Northminster Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis hosts families through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN). The mission of the network is to mobilize communities to help low-income families achieve and sustain independence. IHN unites religious congregations to assist homeless families by providing safe and clean accommodations and meals for three to five families for one week for every two to three months on a rotating basis.
By volunteering as hosts for the evening, sharing dinner and playing games with the younger guests, Rogers Block Controller Sara Pearson and Sales Rep. Jill Fouts logged seven hours of community service toward their SMA's goal of 100 hours to commemorate 100 years of Rogers Group.
