Gary Tapley, Greenbrier Quarry, presented a $100.00 donation to Pat Tapley and Mike Mertens, Superintendent of Schools, to be used for the Food Services Scholarship sponsored by the Greenbrier Public Schools.
The Food Service Department does catering and baking during the year to raise money to fund the scholarship established by Mrs. Tapley. The department prepared the food for a recent safety luncheon at Greenbrier Quarry.
The $500.00 scholarship is awarded to a senior each year.
