Just in time for Christmas, members of the Muscle Shoals Home Builders Association handed out awards to the best building and construction companies in the area.
Chaired by Jerald Smith, Tuscumbia Quarry, the event combined an evening of dinner and dancing. Over 178 members attended the event.
Mark Reid, Reid Construction, was recognized for building some great spaces with the Builder of the Year award. Mark served as project manager on this year's showcase home. All the members of the association build the showcase home together. Annually, the home is sold and profits provide funding for association programs.
Terry Spalding, New South Federal Savings, received the Associate of the Year award. Terry was recognized for his outstanding participation with association programs and events.
Amanda Smith, Home Inspections, and Mark Reid, were given Golden Spike Awards for their teambuilding skills. Amanda and Mark each recruited ten new association members.
Darrell Rumble, Millennium Builders, earned the prestigious President's award.
Tony Brink, Brink Apartments, demonstrated his "Yes, We Can" attitude throughout the year to receive the Bob the Builder award.
