On October 23, six employees from Lacey’s Spring Quarry hand-placed over 72 ton of riprap (donated) at the Lacey’s Spring Community Ball Park. The park is sustained solely by donations from local businesses and residents, and it is the only facility for community softball, baseball, football and soccer programs.
The stone will help control erosion in the park area and make maintenance much easier.
Through this project, Lacey’s Spring Quarry employees logged 48 man-hours of community service.
