The Laceys Spring Quarry, located less than a mile south of Huntsville, Alabama, on US 231, opened for business on Monday, March 12, 2007.
Sales Manager Dave Adomyetz said, “This is a very robust market located near one of the fastest growing cities in Alabama.” Dave attributes much of the growth to the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission that facilitates the closure and consolidation of certain military bases. Huntsville’s Redstone Arsenal is the recipient of new jobs and residents in Huntsville and surrounding communities as a result of BRAC. Sales Manager Scot Cornelius agrees, “The defense contractors and technology sector are spurring the growth of the market.”
The Laceys Spring team has worked tirelessly to get this location up and running. Their hard work and dedication is appreciated.
