On Friday, September 14, a ribbon was cut which ceremonially opened the McEwen Drive interchange with I-65 in Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. The interchange is a welcome addition to the area that has seen extraordinary growth in the past few years. The $29.9 million project was constructed within two years by Integrated Construction, finishing more than two months ahead of schedule.
Several community leaders were present at the ribbon cutting, including State Senator Jack Johnson, State Representative Charles Sargent, Franklin Mayor Tom Miller and Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Commissioner Gerald Nicely who commended Rogers Group for their hard work.
When asked if Rogers Group wanted to take part in the actual cutting of the ribbon Senior Project Manager Randy Allen nominated ICU Superintendent Connie Billings to participate.
Rick Turner, VP Mid-Central Division said, “I want to congratulate our employees for a job well done. I want to also congratulate our subcontractors for their collaboration and professional work. These men and women worked diligently to deliver this project ahead of schedule.”
