Rogers Group Presents Quality Paving Award To City Of Bedford
GEORGE LANGIS PROMOTED TO SENIOR VP AND CFO FOR ROGERS GROUP
George Langis has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Rogers Group, according to Rogers' President and Chief Executive Officer Don Williamson.
Mr. Langis rejoined Rogers Group as Vice President of Finance in September, 1997, following two years as Vice President, Financial Operations at United States Sugar Corporation in Florida. He had served as Vice President and Corporate Controller for Rogers Group from 1989 to 1994.
Langis will direct treasury and accounting operations, internal audit, taxes, risk management and strategic planning for Rogers Group. He holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA and an MBA from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
With corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee, Rogers Group employs 1700 people in five states. The 90 year old company serves the south-central United States as a major heavy/highway and bridge contractor and supplier of aggregates, hot mix asphalt, building materials, and contract coal mining. Annual sales are in excess of $250,000,000.
