The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) recently announced winners of the 2006 About Face awards recognizing efforts to enhance the aesthetic appearance of operations. Among the winners were eleven Rogers Group sites appearing in three different award levels.
Lowell Quarry recently received their “About Face” plaque as did several other sites. Above: Division VP Mark Stephens, Superintendent Jim Poston, SMA Manager Terry Sossong, and Board Member Sam Rechter stand at the Lowell entrance.
Created in 1975, the About Face Program is the NSSGA’s oldest awards program and has itself received awards from the nationally respected Keep America Beautiful organization and the U.S. Department of Interior’s Take Pride in America Program.
